Once Checkett's Wood has been established I intend to publish an number of other novels collectively known as the Checkett's Wood Chronicles. These stories will not only be supplementary to the CW story but can also be read separately if desired. I also intend to publish other unrelated novels and a collection of bardic poetry.
It's been a busy and fruitful few years since Checkett's Wood was first published in March 2021. Not only was I able to follow it up with publishing subsequent related novels (Divided by Faith/Henry of White Shires/Checkland Legacy) but I wrote and published new books - Betwixt the Wood and the Wolf (2022), Nemeton (20223, and finally the Odell Trilogy of books - Wychwood, Sanctuary and Resolution (all 2023). The last four novels mentioned took the Checkett's Wood Chronicles into new territory, which as a writer - and hopefully also the reader - made for a very exciting adventure. The books which are current associated with the Checkett's Wood Chronicles have now been released. Following Divided by Fate there is Henry of White Shire, which follows the follows the fortunes of the Checkland family during the upheavals of Tudor England. A fouth book The Eternal Blade comprising short stories expands on some of the characters referred to in the original Checkett's Wood novel. The fifth book Checkland Legacy is another full novel - set almost 200 years after the events in Checkett's Wood, a descendant of Robert Cleaver discovers his unique family legacy.
